Term 3
Week 6: The Olympics have captured our spirits and we have been practising curling.
Week 5: We have been busy sewing and putting the finishing touches to our Jamaican inspired designs.
Week 4: We started our Topical Talk Festival by discussing technology in sport and if it creates advantages and disadvantages. We made paper aeroplanes to add our technology to, to see the results of our adaptations.
This week in science, we created simple circuits and replaced the switch with different materials. This then helped us to find out which materials were conductors of electricity and which were insulators.
Week 2: This week we conducted an experiment to see what material conducts heat quicker? Which material do you think is the best conductor?
Week 1: This week we have been enjoying the cold weather while orienteering. We started by looking at key and position by following a diagram to make different shapes.
