Week 2
Week 2 - This week, we started the week talking about the season of Lent. We made purple Lenten crosses and Lenten hands. In Writing, we retold the story of the three little pigs. Children independently told the story with puppets and we had narrators too. Miss Morris was very proud of their bravery! In Maths, we have been consolidating counting to 20 and how we can order numbers about 10 without subitising. In DT, we creating clay sculptures like our sculptor Andy Goldsworthy. In History, we played with some toys from the past that we might still see now and discussed how toys have changed from the past. We also celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as a word and having a family teddy bear picnic!
