The hours for this post are Monday - Friday 8:40am - 1:15pm, term time only
Salary: Full time salary is £26,168. This position is a part time post for 4 hours and 35 minutes per day
Fixed Term Contract to 31st August 2027
St Peter's Catholic Primary School are looking for a suitable candidate for a Teaching Assistant with midday meals supervision responsibility.
We need an energetic, enthusiastic and creative teaching assistant to join us. We are looking for someone who can help make our children’s journey through school both a memorable and enjoyable experience.
The role also includes supervising lunchtimes for pupils from Reception to Year 6
We will need you to be:
Someone who has experience of working with children. Early Years experience is preferable but not essential.
Someone who relishes watching children flourish and progress
Knowledgeable about the role of a teaching assistant
Someone who has a knowledge of phonics (training available)
Someone who has an understanding of child development
Able to work proactively, using own initiative
Resilient and flexible with change
Reliable and committed to the wider life of the school

A clear communicator with adults and children alike
