Welcome to the wonderful Nazareth class! 

Your class teacher is Miss Hammond who is supported by Mrs Davis.

In year 2, we like to ensure that our learning is interesting, active and memorable.

We like to create a comfortable working environment where children feel confident enough to share their ideas and flourish the whole year through. Every morning the children emotionally check in to ensure they're ready to learn. Your child's wellbeing and happiness is very important to us. 

Throughout the year our mistakes are celebrated because that is how we learn. It is okay to make mistakes if we do, we try again. 

We like to use exciting hooks to help engage children because that is when we learn best.

Our topics are explored in a creative way linking them to our English text each term. We like to create inquisitive thinkers who want to go home and learn even more about what we have taught them. 

Throughout the week we like to sprinkle awe and wonder.

Our school values faith, love and respect are used  throughout the school but especially within the classroom. 

We look forward to seeing your child grow, develop and shine bright just like the stars they are. 

PE days 

PE for term one will be on a Tuesday and Wednesday every week. Please wear your PE kit to school on those days. As the weather gets cooler, please ensure your child is in warmer clothes.
