Term 1 Photo Gallery

Week beginning 7 September 2020 - This week we learnt about what happens at the Gurdwara in RE. In English, we worked on 'The Tiny Seed' and in maths we looked at sorting objects. In Science we explored seasons, beginning with Autumn and collected items from outside to make our own Autumn pictures.

Week Beginning 14 September 2020 - Maths - we've been learning how to sort/count objects and represent numbers. English - we acted out the story of The Tiny Seed. Science we are learning about the seasons and made an Autumn picture

Week beginning 21 September - We've been looking at one more and one less in maths. We have been looking at Giuseppe Arcimboldo and are beginning to paint our fruit faces for our Harvest display. Also our tiny seeds that we planted are beginning to grow!

Week Beginning 28 September 2020 - We have of course been focusing this week on Harvest and we have made fruit faces in the style of Arcimboldo. In English, we have learnt about adjectives and written our own information books about vegetables. In maths we have been looking at ordering and more or less signs and observing weather in Science.

Week Beginning 5 October 2020 - This week we have been studying leaves and writing Autumn poems in English, making our own globes in Geography and looking at part-whole model in maths.

Week Beginning 12 October 2020 - 'We're going on a bear hunt' in English this week. In maths, we have covered addition, fact families and number bonds. Then in Science we have explored the wind, scoring the strength and looking at direction by using bubbles.

Week Beginning 19 October 2020 - This week we have been learning about 'The Fish Who Could Wish' in English. In maths, we have been looking at subtraction and in PE we have been practising our train movements. Also, in RE we have learnt about Noah's Ark and made rainbow bracelets, to remind us of God's promise. I hope everyone has a lovely half term!
