Week One
In RE this week, we learnt about our new class name: Galilee. We learnt about some of the incredible events that took place in Galilee and we acted out some of these events in groups.
In geography, we began by reviewing our knowledge of compass points and explained where countries were in relation to Spain, which is our focus country this term. We then learnt about latitude and longitude, annotating maps to show our new knowledge. We also showcased our existing knowledge by labelling the continents and oceans.
In art, we learnt how to use viewfinders. We painted some harvest themed pictures using the viewfinder to add an extra challenge.
