Science
We continued to explore everyday materials this week. We worked in groups to examine different objects and describe their properties.
Design Technology
We created moving pictures using a sliding mechanism that moved forwards and backwards.

We are continuing to read 'Traction Man is here' by Mini Grey. This week, we have sequenced the story and used this character as inspiration for our writing.
Maths
We have been comparing numbers using the greater than, less than and equal symbols - <,>,=
We used a variety of manipulatives, including numicon and dominoes, to compare two amounts. We worked practically before recording our findings in our books.
PE
We have been working on our coordination and balance. Our key skill for the week was to walk in a straight fluid line without losing our balance. We challenged ourselves even further by practicing this skill on a balance beam.
RE
We discussed the annunciation even further this week, by role playing the visit between Mary and Elizabeth.
