Week 6
In Food Technology, we cooked a delicious Bengali style chicken curry.
Michael from Creepy Crawlies came to show us some of the creatures we could meet in creepy crawlies club starting after the half term. We met a snake, a hedgehog and a tarantula!
This week in History, we learnt about the Ancient Olympics. We started by watching Horrible Histories and answering a quiz. Then Mrs Cooper showed us pictures from her trip to the original Olympic village in Olympia, Greece. Then we used sources to help us learn all about the events from the ancient Olympics. Finally, we played charades and acted our the different events we had learnt about.
In music, we finished learning about samba and put our own rhythms together.
In Science, we led our own investigations either about the potency of different washing up liquids or about the fat content in milk. We are getting very good at leading our own investigations!
