This year, British Science Week will be held from 11th - 20th March. During the week, we will have many Science events taking place, further details will follow nearer the time and the information will be shared here and through our St Peter's Parents Facebook page and The School App.

As part of the celebrations, St Peter's children will be taking part in an online Science day on the 14th March for all Primary schools across the KCSP Trust, which will be led by Tom Holloway of The Primary Science Teaching Trust.  The day will be a fantastic opportunity for all children from the EYFS to Year Six to join in on exciting science experiments and feedback on their findings. With any event like this, we will require resources to be available in school for the children to use. Having looked at the event, it is evident that all classes will require the use of bottles during their online session. Therefore, over the next few weeks, could you please save and send into school some of the following types of bottles:

• Year 5 & 6 - 500ml plastic bottles with lids.
• Year 3 & 4 - 500ml and 2 litre bottles with lids.

• EYFS & KS1 – Small / medium / large plastic milk bottles with lids.
