Week Four
In our first history lesson this week, we learnt about the Blitz. We had some sources to organise that showed us how people kept safe during the Blitz, including: evacuation, shelters and blackouts.
In our second history lesson of the week, we learnt about the Battle of Britain. We started by sorting primary and secondary sources, drawing conclusions as we did so. Then, we did some drama to understand the events of the battle. Finally, we used laptops to both research and type up information about the Battle of Britain.
We had a visit from Kent Fire & Rescue to teach us all about how to keep ourselves safe by preventing fires and what to do in a fire-related emergency.
