History Workshop Pictures

We have been very lucky to have had Miss Wilson with us on work experience this week. She took some fantastic pictures for us during our history workshop, edited them and put them all together to make this video for us. We will miss Miss Wilson and wish her lots of luck in her ongoing school work!

A HUGE well done to year 6 for performing three fantastic shows of The Adventures of Superstan on Wednesday. The show was absolutely incredible and we couldn't be prouder of our amazingly talented year 6s.

We painted our abstract sculptures that represent soldiers. These sculptures are amazing and we're so impressed with the way each child thought deeply about the meaning behind their sculptures and how they can represent different concepts in abstract ways.

This week, we had a workshop with Hysterical History, to teach us all about life for children in World War II. We learnt about the Blitz and evacuation, completed air raid training and finally, we joined bomb disposal school. We learnt that children of the war would collect bombs and bullets, so we learnt how to recognise live ones and how to stay safe during the air raids. Thank you so much to the PTFA for funding this workshop for us!
