What a fantastic first 'Science Through Art' exhibition we had today! 
We had 39 entries and the quality was tremendous - the children and parents who attended were amazed with the high standard of art and the excellent scientific understanding behind the art!

On Monday 29th January 2024, we will host our inaugural Science Through Art Exhibition. Science and Art have always linked together very well and we are very lucky to have, both wonderful artists and scientists, here at St Peter's.
This exhibition will therefore give our children the opportunity to showcase their scientific and artistic skills.
The key details are:
- An element of Science has to be represented through the medium of Art.
- Artistically, this can be done through painting (oil, watercolour, acrylic), sculpture, textiles, pencil sketching, charcoal drawing, collage, mixed media or pastels – your choice.
- Entries can be A3 or A4 size.
- No photographs – we will host our Science Photo Exhibition in Term 4.
The deadline for entry will be Thursday 25th January. Please give any entries to Mr Tierney or hand in at the school office.
Parents are welcome to attend and view our exhibition which will take place on Monday 29th January at 2:30pm in the hall.
