In PE, children have been becoming more aware of their physicality. We passed and received balls, using an underarm motion. We then practiced our catching skills by bouncing the ball off of a stationary object.
We explored the life and works of Bridget Riley. We learnt how Bridget was famous for her use of lines in her artwork and how this developed her range of optical illusion art. We then had a go at creating our own version.
Mrs. Crosby became a programmer in our first coding lesson. Children became robots and followed Mrs. Crosby's instructions carefully to represent an algorithm.
