Term 5

We had an amazing end to Term 5 with our very own Jubilee Party! We thoroughly enjoyed performances through the ages for each decade and Year 3 displayed a fantastic performance of 'Footloose' from the 1980's!

We have enjoyed some nice weather and have been working on our tennis skills this term. We have linked our reaction and response times in PE and have been practising our forehand positions, as well as some backhand position work.

We walked to King George's park to investigate the flora and fauna there. We recorded our observations and created some beautiful artwork!

We studied doubting Thomas in John 20:19-29. We talked about Thomas' feelings and discussed and reflected on 'Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe.'

We enjoyed the weather this week, taking PE outside for some work on our agility skills. We practised our reaction times, responding quickly to catch a tennis ball after 1 bounce, at a distance of 1m, 2m and 3m from our partners.

Year 3 undertook some work on fractions this week, completing various and different activities to achieve a solid understanding.
