Term 3

Week 5: We have been finishing our sewing this week with lots of enthusiasm with many ready to evaluate their work. For science this week the children were tasked with growing a rainbow with lots of team work they succeeded.

Week 4: This week we have been looking at different chemical reactions and how this coloured the water. We have been busy in maths consolidating our learning of our times tables before we look at multiplying 2 digit numbers. In sewing the children are now stitching their designs using running stitch.

Week 3: In dance this week we looked at standing positions and floor positions working on how we could travel between the two. We had a very messy science lesson where we had to put of scientist hats on and try to get food colouring to move around a plate.

Week 2: We worked on balance during our gym session this week and how we position ourselves on a beam. During music we looked at the dynamics of sounds by imitating the dynamics of different modes of transport as well as our mouse and giant.

Week 1: We kick started the term off by looking at the location of The Cairngorms in Scotland, comparing this to The Alps from our previous term. We have been looking at travel in dance and different ways that we can move from one position to another.
