Week 2
In DT, we made different types of crank mechanism out of card and pipe cleaners. These mechanisms caused different movements e.g. rotary or vertical.
In history, we began our unit on Ancient Greece by exploring when in history the civilisation reigned and where on the globe it was situated. We used our giant timeline and mini-timelines to explore some statements about Ancient Greece's chronology.
In football this week, we practised our passing.
In RE, we learnt about Oscar Romero - a man who always showed commitment to God and his community and sadly died as a result of this commitment. We made some beautiful posters all about his life and death, exploring why he is still such an inspiration.
In Science, we made classification trees to classify sweets.
We had Father Arbo come to Galilee Class this week to learn the Wednesday Word with us.
