Week 8
This week, we have had a go at some photography! We applied what we have learnt about landscapes to our pictures, ensuring that there is a clear background, midground and foreground. We also thought about what we wanted the mood of our photos to be. For instance, for a gloomier, spookier mood, we shot our photos in the woodland walk.
In geography, we spoke about the visitors that welcome in Spain and the visitors that may not be welcome in Spain. We discussed the concept of refugees and understood what was meant by the term 'asylum seekers'. We read a story called 'Refuge' which is the Nativity story told from a different perspective. We then looked at some street art that Mrs Cooper had seen earlier this year that promotes peace, so we went to the playground to add our own street art to welcome refugees and to promote peace.
