Week 4
This week we explored Ancient Greece through Virtual Reality! It was a brilliant workshop and we all loved it!
Today we went on a school trip to Margate to learn all about train safety! We had a brilliant time learning how to stay safe in railway stations. We learnt this information through games, a platform walk and by watching a few videos in the 'train cinema'.
In science today, we set up our bread investigations. We are investigating the best conditions in which to grow mould. This is because we read a newspaper article that explained that some micro-organisms can be really positive and can help produce medicines.
In RE this week, we came up with some scenarios that we acted out. Our scenarios had to show somebody with a weakness getting support from somebody. This was to highlight that we all have strengths, we all have weaknesses, we all need support at one time or another and all of that is ok. When we show our 'weaknesses', it gives other people the power to be kind and compassionate to us.
