Week 1
In English, we acted out the story of 'Moth' by Isobel Thomas, which we have been reading in our guided reading lessons. This story is linked with evolution - our science unit for this term - and is a beautiful story about change and adaptation. Our dramas were truly brilliant!
In geography, we explored the geographical features of China using digimaps.
In music, we made sound effects with our voices, guitars and xylophones. We changed the pitch depending on the shape of some pipe cleaners and we changed our speed depending on how quickly the conductor pointed along the pipe cleaners.
In RE, we used our Bibles to find scripture of Jesus consecrating the bread and wine at the last supper. We now know the New Covenant is the solemn promise to always remember Jesus during Holy Communion at Mass.
