English
In English this week we have been working really hard to secure our use of capital letters and full stops. We have also taken part in a 'rhyme hunt', where children had to find a word hidden in the classroom and then write a matching rhyming word on their white boards.
We have also been writing sentences independently to describe a scene from the jungle book. Children have been using colourful semantics to support them in building simple sentences.
Science
We gave been learning about how animals adapt to different seasons. We particularly investigated the change from Autumn to Winter.
Maths
We have been using different combinations to make 10.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
