Week 4
This week, Year 4 went on a geography field trip to our local parks. Their inquiry question was, 'Do our Local Parks Need Improving?' The children carried out research in their groups and collected data to help them with their research. Although we were rather cold most of the day, the children enjoyed finding out more about the area where we live.
In tennis week in PE, the children have learnt how to use the backhand stroke, which we practised on Friday. They have also carried out a scientific investigation on the factors that affect the rate at which ice melts.
