Week 5
In geography, we learnt about Fast Fashion. We did a few activities to help us understand what Fast Fashion is, and then decided what we should do in future when shopping, in order to help take care of God's earth.
In science, we did an investigation into evolution and looked at different bird beaks and how they can pick up different foods in different places. This related to Darwin's work with the finches on the Galapagos Islands.
In art, we added embriodery to our waistcoats.
Today we celebrated NSPCC Number Day by doing an angles activity. We had masking tape all over our tables and we needed to measure the angles created by the masking tape. We estimated the size of these angles first, then measured them using protractors. We found that our estimations were getting better and better the more we did!
