Week 2

In gymnastics, we learnt how to do some counter balances with a partner. We then put some of our favourites into a sequence.

In English, we explored a character description to help us with our own writing about Alva from 'Riddle of the Runes'.

Today we watched 'Captain Wonder Web and the Esteem Machine', which is a new show from the NHS to promote positive mental health in children. It was an excellent show, with a brilliant message.

Ash Wednesday Service with Deacon David

In history this week, we used digimaps to show the routes of the Vikings' travel to Britain from their homelands.

Check out our brilliant World Book Day costumes! See if you can guess what our words are!

In food technology this week, we made halloumi skewers with cous cous. We did lots of chopping and measuring to prep our meal. Once it was cooked, we tucked in. Most of us really enjoyed the meal we cooked! Look at our smiley faces and thumbs up!

For World Book Day, we went to reception to read with the younger children. It was such a beautiful morning that we sat outside! Batman and Joker had a face off too!

In computing, we started our unit on ‘quizzing’ by creating World Book Day quizzes.
